SC Electronics
has been awarded a contract by Jefferson Laboratory, Newport
News VA, for the development of two hundred and sixty rack
mounted power supplies required to energize particle
acceleration quadrupole magnets. The units are 1.5 KW, 20A, 75V
programmable, bipolar power supplies. Loads vary from a few
100’s of milliohms in resistance and a few 100’s millihenries in
inductance to a few ohms and approximately 1 Henry. The power
supplies are remotely controlled. SCE will furnish all labor,
equipment and materials, and perform all work necessary to
design, prepare drawings and manuals, manufacturer and assemble,
prepare test procedures, factory test and deliver units to
Jefferson Lab.

been awarded a purchase order from Koch Pipeline Co., Wichita
KS, for delivery of a ruggedized, universal input 24 – 32V power
supply for use in field operations. The SCE 926 meets military
environmental requirements for use in rugged terrain and harsh
climates.

TX – SC Electronics announced today that it has been awarded a
contract valued at approximately $ 1.8 million from U.S. Army
CECOM, Ft. Monmouth, NJ. This is the second significant award
from this customer for the SCE 950A ruggedized power supply.
The SCE 950A produces 1 – 30 VDC output at up to 60 Amps. Input
can be 85-270VAC, 50-400hz or 120-380VDC.

been awarded a contract valued at approximate $ 400,000 from
Defense Logistics Agency, Richmond, VA for a high voltage power
supply. This award stems from a previous contract under which
the NSWC approved a critical application item for production.

Supplies. The SCE 950A is a ruggedized COTS universal input,
variable output DC power supply for use in powering
communications equipment.

TX – SC Electronics announced today that it has been awarded a
contract valued at approximately $ 200,000 from Defense
Logistics Agency, Richmond, VA for a high voltage power supply.
SC Electronics reversed engineered a legacy power supply for
this critical application. A First Article unit will be
delivered to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane IN for
extensive testing by the Navy before production commences.

SC Electronics Wins Air Force Contract
Fort Worth - The Air Force has awarded an $8.6 million contract to SC Electronics in Fort Worth. The Air Force hired the company to manufacture radar system power supply assemblies for about 1,000 F-16 aircraft. The assemblies, which adapt aircraft power so it can operate APG-68 radar systems, will replace the power supply units
installed in the F-16s. Elizabeth Ibarra, president of SC Electronics, said her company won the contract under an Air Force cost-cutting program that targets small businesses and manufacturers. SC Electronics employs about 45 people in Azle, TX.

Associated Universities, Inc. has engaged SC Electronics in a program that will lead to the production of Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider RHIC Dipole Corrector Power Supplies. Six hundred and fifty units will power super-conduction corrector magnets along the mile long particle accelerator located at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Long
Island, NY. SC Electronics will design and build the units at their facility in Azle, Texas.
